Data privacy regarding the use of Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service, Google Analytics. The provider of that service is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses so-called cookies. These are text files, which are stored on your computer and which make it possible to analyze the use of the website. Information concerning your use of the website that is generated by the cookie is sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

By activating IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be truncated within Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will be sent to a Google server and truncated there only in exceptional cases. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about web activity, and to provide the operator of this website with services associated with the use of this website and the Internet. The IP address transmitted within the context of Google analytics by your browser will not be merged with other data from Google.

You may refuse the use of cookies by adjusting your browser software: however, we would like to point out that if you do so, you may not be able to make full use of all the functions on this website. In addition, you can prevent the data generated by this cookie from being recorded by Google (including your IP address) and prevent this data from being processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin found at the link below: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Use of Script Libraries (Google Webfonts)

In order to render our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries on this website, such as: Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google web fonts are transferred to the cache of your browser to prevent multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Web fonts or prohibits access, content will be displayed in a standard font.

The call of script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible – but currently also unclear whether and if so for what purposes – that operators of such libraries collect data.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here:

https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Embedded YouTube videos

On some of our web pages we embed Youtube videos. The corresponding plug-ins are operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, it will connect to Youtube’s servers. Youtube will be informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. This can be prevented by logging out of your Youtube account beforehand.

If a Youtube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.

Anyone who has disabled the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program will not have to expect such cookies when watching YouTube videos. Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser.

For more information on data protection at “Youtube”, see the privacy policy of the provider at: https://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of map features by visitors. For more information about Google’s data processing, you can access the Google Privacy Policy. There you can also change your personal privacy settings in the privacy center. Please find detailed instructions on how to manage your own data related to Google products here.

Our website uses functions from the LinkedIn network. The provider of that service is the LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Every time one of our pages that contains the LinkedIn functions is called up, a connection is established with the LinkedIn servers. LinkedIn is informed that you have visited our website using your IP address. If you click the Recommend button from LinkedIn and are logged into your LinkedIn account, LinkedIn is able to assign your visit to our website to you and your user account. We would point out that, as the provider of this site, we have no knowledge about the content of the data that is transmitted or its use by LinkedIn.

Additional information can be found in the data privacy statement for LinkedIn at: www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy

Transfer of personal data

We are not transmitting any personal data collected from you through emails, or the contact form of this website to any other third party on a regular basis, in particular not to third parties established outside the European Union or outside the European Economic Area (EEA). If you contact our staff during their potential business trips outside the EU, the staff is receiving your email through a secure connection, so that your data is not transmitted to a third party, but remains within the sphere of influence of our company.

If we are forwarding or copying a message that we have received by email or our contact form to persons outside our company, we will first ask you for your consent to do so, unless you have informed us explicitly about your consent already when you were writing your email to us.
